Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6 August 2026 · Applies to all use of v-card.in

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", or "business") and [Your Company Legal Name] ("v-card.in", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the website and service available at v-card.in (the "Service"). By creating an account, verifying your mobile number, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refunds Policy, and Shipping Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Description of Service

v-card.in is a Software-as-a-Service platform that allows businesses in India to create, customise, and publish a digital visiting card — a shareable web page containing their business details, photographs, product catalogue, contact information, social links, and location. The Service is provided on a paid annual subscription basis.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features of the Service at our discretion, provided that any material reduction in features will not affect an active subscription's core functionality without reasonable notice.

2.1 Not a Marketplace

v-card.in is a presentation and contact-sharing tool. We do not process orders, handle payments between you and your customers, or act as an intermediary in any transaction between you and third parties who view your card. Any business conducted as a result of your card is solely between you and that third party.

3. Eligibility & Account

To use the Service, you must:

Your mobile number serves as your unique account identifier and cannot be changed once your account is created. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access to your registered mobile number and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@v-card.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

Access to publish a live, publicly visible card requires an active annual subscription, currently priced at ₹499 per year (inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout). Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and may be revised for future billing cycles; any change will not affect a subscription period you have already paid for.

For refund eligibility and the cancellation process, please see our Cancellation & Refunds Policy.

5. Your Content

"Your Content" means any text, images, logos, product photographs, catalogue files, links, or other material you upload to or submit through the Service. You retain full ownership of Your Content.

By uploading Your Content, you grant v-card.in a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and to visitors of your published card. This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or close your account, subject to our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that:

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section, at our reasonable discretion, with or without prior notice where urgency requires it.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, visual styles, branding, and underlying code — is the exclusive property of [Your Company Legal Name] and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding except as necessary to reasonably use the Service as intended.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and may link to third-party services, including but not limited to Razorpay (payments), Google Maps and OpenStreetMap (location), Google Firebase (mobile number verification), YouTube (video embeds), and WhatsApp (messaging). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own respective terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party service.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and performing reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability of the Service.

10. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if required to do so by law, subject to reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though certain data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

11. Liability & Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, [Your Company Legal Name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable Indian law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Your Company Legal Name], its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, Your Content, or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [Your City, State], India. We encourage you to first contact us to resolve any concern informally before pursuing formal proceedings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.
